Terms of Service
The agreement between you and vidsDL when you use the site, the free tools, or a paid plan.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Who we are
vidsDL (vidsdl.com) is operated by the team that publishes it. Write to [email protected] and we will give you the operating entity's registered name and address, and an address for service of legal notices.
By using the site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. What the service does
vidsDL takes a media link you provide, reads the publicly available information the source returns for that link, and hands you the resulting file. Some jobs run entirely in your browser; others run on our infrastructure. We do not host a media library and we do not index or search other people's content.
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the links you submit and for what you do with the files you download. You must have the right to make the copy you are asking for.
- Only download content you own, content you have permission to download, or content whose licence or applicable law allows it (for example your own uploads, or material in the public domain).
- Do not use the service to circumvent technical protection measures, paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
- Do not use the service to infringe copyright, publicity, privacy or trade-mark rights.
- Do not automate, scrape, resell or resell-as-a-service our endpoints, and do not attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas or the abuse protections.
- Do not upload or process unlawful material, including material that sexually exploits minors.
4. Accounts, plans and credits
The free tier works without an account. A paid plan or a credit pack requires one. Subscription credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over; purchased credit packs do not expire. AI features are always metered in credits, including on free and lifetime plans.
Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices for future billing periods with notice; a change never applies retroactively to a period you already paid for.
5. Refunds
If a paid job fails through our fault, the credits are returned to your wallet automatically. For subscription refunds, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and describe what went wrong. Statutory rights, where they apply to you, are not affected.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Sources change their systems without notice, and a tool that works today may stop working for a given source tomorrow. We may add, change, limit or remove features, including free-tier limits.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms, abuses the infrastructure, or exposes us to legal risk. You can stop using the service at any time; if you have an account you can delete it, which deletes the associated personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
We will confirm the governing jurisdiction in writing on request at [email protected]. Whatever it turns out to be, it does not remove any mandatory consumer-protection right you have where you live. This English version governs; any translation is provided for convenience only.
